Wahoo! Go here for a laying out of liberal priest, Oak Park’s own Larry O’Malley.
Father Larry is already famous in Blithe Spirit, all of it here.
See also Larry swearing off bishops’ instructions.
Plucky fellow. Will he pull a Pfleger when it’s time to move? He could. Like Pfleger, he has a local-church-is-all parish membership behind him in a leftist community.

I wanted to post this or e-mail this to Pat HIckey, but to register on his blog, I had to give my birthdate to Google — no thank you!
So, if you think this is worth passing on, please do.
“”The nuns of whom Carol and gals speak are not the cloistered saints of the Poor Clares, but the badly dressed mannish sixty somethings driving Nissans from Hyde Park to their personal ministries – not teaching in schools, or mending the sick, but show-up jobs as community activists. Too many of these starchy women have done just a swell job of scaring off the faithful. One such local nitwit, Sister Quinn, worked to help abort babies and other was fired for advocating abortion.”
Priceless!
These odd women and these poofy priests give me the creeps.
I am a morning Mass goer, but cannot bring myself to get re-involved with my parish. The religiobabble of most sermons is inexcusable. The lost opportunity to catechize the parish has given us a confused and secularized congregation.
If you want to read some excellent sermons by the former pastor of St. Peter’s in Volo (St. John Cantius outpost on the far edge of the archdiocese):

Thanks Margaret,
They have the very same impact upon this sinful helot.
God Bless!
